Day 2. Béziers - Narbonne ~34Km / 21 Miles - Canal Du Midi Circle self guided bike tour
Follow the Canal Du Midi starting in Béziers, visiting the famous aquaduct over the Orb River, the Nine Locks and the Malpas Tunnel. Due to the fact that too many boats sank, a new segment of the Canal Du Midi was dug in the 1850's which leads to a beautiful aquaduct. After the Malpas Tunnel we head south towards Narbonne, using only small, quiet, and paved county roads with very little traffic. Pass through vineyards and sunflower fields.
Spend night in elegant 3*** hotel in the center of Narbonne.
OPTION: Extend your bike rental by one more day and cycle from Narbonne to the beach, following bike path along the Canal de la Robine. For people that want to ride even farther, a loop is available that goes to the beach and then continues on via small paved roads back to Narbonne. Thus you can cycle w
